On May 9th and 10th, the East Lycoming School District Annual Arts Festival will celebrate the work of students from K-12 starting at 6pm in the high school gymnasium. In this event, the art teachers and seniors transform the entire gym into a gallery creating a dramatic display of drawings, paintings, mosaics, sculpture, pottery, stained glass and more. During the evening of May 10, the elementary chorus will perform at 7pm. Seniors Morgan Taylor, Kylie Lewis, Chloe Springman, Gina Budman, Mabrey Smouse, Grace Vannan, and Mekenzie Hall will present their work individually. A “make and take” table will exist for kids to try their own hand at art, as well as live demonstrations in pottery and stained glass.
