Today the District has been informed that three students have tested COVID positive at the Junior/Senior High School.  The Department of Health was contacted. As per the recommendation from the Department of Health, and our approved Pennsylvania Department of Education Continuity of Education Plan, the Junior/Senior High School will remain in remote instruction for next week from 1/18 through 1/22.

 The district was also notified today that a support staff member from Ashkar has been determined to be "presumed positive." No students or other staff members were in contact with this person.

 This change is only for the Junior/ Senior High school. Elementary schools will remain in traditional “Face to Face” instruction. As a reminder, Monday 1/18/2021 will be a face to face school day for elementary students and a virtual day for high school students.
